Stonybrook Albion's Unbeaten Start Comes to an End

Stonybrook Albion's unbeaten start to the season is over. The league leaders had gone unbeaten since matchday one, ten matches, before Lumina Strikers ended it at Boreal Park, finishing 2-1.

The Badgers led the table for most of that run and still do, but it wasn't always straightforward. Away at Grimstone FC on matchday five they trailed 3-2 with just under half an hour to play before scoring twice, in the 77th and 88th minutes, to win 3-4. Lumina Strikers, a mid-table side better known for entertaining, high-scoring games than defensive discipline, needed a free kick of their own to finally get past them.
