Embergate FC Stop Velluris City After 11 Matches Unbeaten

Velluris City had gone 11 matches without losing. Embergate FC, the team that also beat them on the opening day, ended that run.

The only goal came in the 80th minute at Sunspire Stadium, and Velluris, who had scored 33 goals in their previous 15 matches, did not score at all. Final score: 1-0.

Two of Velluris City's three defeats this season have now come against Embergate. After matchday 16 they are still third, six points behind Stonybrook Albion.
